Part of The Trixel Alphabet, an ongoing project reinterpreting all 26 letters — plus & and @ — through original design language

Yellow and blue sit at opposite temperatures, and this piece leans into that. Gold Yellow keeps the field warm and open, while Neptune Blue, deep, cool, almost electric against the yellow, carries every letterform with precision and weight. It's a quieter contrast than red against yellow, but no less confident: blue holds its ground without needing to shout.

The letterforms do the rest of the work. Minimal geometry, optical spirals, suggestive shapes that ask you to look twice before you read them as letters at all, the same logic that runs through every print in The Trixel Alphabet, here rendered in a palette that feels sharp, clean, almost architectural.

Hand-pulled, one layer at a time, on 250gsm Lenox 100, printed at the MGC Community Print Studio at PowerHouse Arts in Brooklyn, a studio built for exactly this kind of hands-on, ink-on-paper process. No two pulls of a silkscreen are ever pixel-identical, which is part of why this exists as 1/1.
