Part of The Trixel Alphabet, an ongoing project reinterpreting all 26 letters — plus & and @ — through original design language

Green against yellow reads as natural, almost organic, and here the print leans into that instinct. Terraform Green carries a slight orange-peel texture, a subtle unevenness in the surface that catches light differently across the sheet. In places it settles heavier, almost mossy, most visible in the U and the Y, where the ink pooled just a little deeper and gave those letters a texture the rest of the alphabet doesn't quite have.

That's not a flaw to smooth over, it’s the ink behaving like ink, water-based and hand-pulled, refusing to be perfectly uniform. Against Gold Yellow, it reads less like a printing imperfection and more like weathering, or growth, fitting for a color already named after the earth itself.

The letterforms underneath carry the same logic as the rest of the series: minimal geometry, optical illusion, suggestion over literalism, each one asking to be looked at twice. Hand-pulled, one layer at a time, on 250gsm Lenox 100, printed at the MGC Community Print Studio at PowerHouse Arts in Brooklyn. No two pulls of a silkscreen are ever pixel-identical, which is part of why this exists as 1/1, and here, that uniqueness is written directly into the texture of the ink itself.
