This one carries more of the hand in hand-pulled than any other piece in the series. The red background has its own orange-peel grain, and in places a slight kiss from the screen, a light, incomplete touch that leaves a softer trace instead of a solid field. The green letterforms carry a mossy orange-peel texture of their own, uneven in a way that feels grown rather than printed.

And then there's the register: the pass is slightly off-set, red and green not quite locking into perfect alignment. Instead of reading as a flaw, it gives the letterforms a kind of optical embossing, a sense of depth and transparency, as if each letter is lifting slightly off the page rather than sitting flat on it.

None of this is a printing defect, it’s intentional character, the print behaving like a print: ink, screen, pressure, and a slight human hand in every pull. For collectors who understand that a hand-pulled silkscreen isn't a reproduction but a singular event, this piece is the clearest evidence of that: a 1/1, not despite its imperfections, but because of them.
