Two blues, close in temperature but distinct in depth, a dense, opaque light blue laid down first, even and flat across the sheet, with Neptune Blue sitting over it for the letterforms. No granular texture, no orange-peel grain here; this ink pass is deliberately smooth, which shifts the whole read of the piece. Instead of ink meeting paper, it feels closer to ink meeting ink.

The effect is quieter than the red or yellow pairings, but no less considered. Without a hue shift to do the work, the eye has to rely entirely on value and form, which puts the letterforms themselves fully on display. Every spiral, every optical illusion, every minimal cut has nowhere to hide behind color; it has to hold up on shape alone.

Hand-pulled, one layer at a time, on 250gsm Lenox 100, printed at the MGC Community Print Studio at PowerHouse Arts in Brooklyn. No two pulls of a silkscreen are ever pixel-identical, which is part of why this exists as 1/1.
